Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a popular cosmetic treatment that can improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck, or hands. This treatment involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which causes the top layers of skin to peel off, revealing smoother and more youthful-looking skin underneath.

At Contour Couture, we offer a range of chemical peels to suit different skin types and concerns. Our experienced and licensed aestheticians will work with you to determine the best peel for your specific needs.

Types of Chemical Peels:
Typically most peels fall into 2 types:
Superficial peels: High-quality acid combinations to target skin concerns such as acne and premature signs of aging by penetrating only the uppermost layer of the epidermis. Designed for all types of skincare specialists to be used on a regular basis to help patients maintain healthy-looking skin.
Medium peels: Advanced and innovative acid combinations to target deeper skin concerns such as advanced signs of aging and pigmentation including melasma, senile lentigines and actinic keratosis. These more advanced solutions require the specific expertise of highly skilled skincare specialists to offer stunning results.

Procedure:
During a chemical peel treatment, the skin is first cleansed thoroughly to remove any makeup, dirt, or oil. The chemical solution is then applied to the skin in a controlled manner and left on for a specific amount of time depending on the type of peel and the individual's skin sensitivity.
After the peel is complete, the skin may be red and sensitive for a few hours to a few days. Depending on the strength of the peel, the recovery time may vary. It is important to follow post-treatment instructions carefully to ensure optimal results.
If you are interested in improving the appearance of your skin with a chemical peel, contact our clinic today to schedule a consultation with one of our licensed aestheticians.
